Mission Statement for “Love On Life

“At Love On Life, our mission is to empower individuals and communities to thrive by promoting mental health and preventing substance abuse. Through compassion, education, and advocacy, we strive to create a society where every person has the opportunity to lead a fulfilling and meaningful life. We believe in fostering a culture of love, acceptance, and support, providing accessible resources and comprehensive programs that address the diverse needs of individuals affected by mental health challenges and substance abuse. Together, we aim to inspire hope, break stigma, and build a resilient world where everyone can experience the transformative power of love on life.”

A little bio about the Founders of Love on Life Foundation INC.

The Founder Lavon Davis, was born in Brooklyn New York. He have suffered with mental health issues and substance abuse from his youth into Most of his adolescent and early adulthood without proper awareness and receving proper treatment for depression and schizophrenia which went on for years. Lavon, is now proud to provide knowledge and awareness to the community about mental health and substance abuse treatment and understanding of how to deal and overcome this battle." It's ok to not be ok let's create a new norm".

The rapper Michael "Sheff G" Williams,  has partner up with Lavon Davis, in march of 2023 to create the non -for -profit "Love on life foundation INC" to help raise awareness to all people of all walks of life regarding the importance of understanding and acceptance of mental health and substance abuse prevention.

Michael Williams, in Brooklyn NY has battled with mental health issue's himself. Growing up in a single parent household with financial instability. At a early age Michael, was forced  to grow up faster than a average kid/peers  to help provide for his family. from the age fifteen Michael, has suffered from anxiety attacks which caused life to feel overwhelming. Depression was soon set in later causing him to self load for weeks at a time forcing him to become anti-social. PTSD  has now become a serious mental health issue amongst Michael Williams, as well as members of his community due to being subjected to violence and un-norm conditions of which the youth are force to grow up in.

Michael "Sheff G" Williams, want the communities to know "Even though they might not be able to change the conditions where they live at, they can seek the proper treatment to better their mental health state."

  • Healthcare

    Lavon Davis pursued his higher education at the Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences, a renowned institution in New York City known for its comprehensive health and wellness programs. At Swedish Institute, Lavon enrolled in programs for both massage therapy and medical assisting, reflecting his dedication to holistic healthcare. He earned an Associate in Occupational Studies (A.O.S.) degree in Massage Therapy, equipping him with skills in various therapeutic techniques. Additionally, he completed the Clinical and Administrative Medical Assistant program, gaining proficiency in clinical procedures, patient care, and medical office administration. This dual educational background has enabled Lavon to integrate hands-on therapeutic practices with administrative expertise, positioning him as a versatile professional in the healthcare field.

  • Infrastructure

    Lavon Davis exemplifies the transformative power of resilience and community dedication. While incarcerated, Lavon confronted the harsh realities of his past, including a long and difficult battle with substance abuse. Rather than let his struggles define him, he used them as fuel to build something greater. From within the walls of his cell, he began laying the groundwork for a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping others break the cycles of addiction, incarceration, and hopelessness. Upon his release, Lavon brought his vision to life—creating a safe, supportive space for individuals returning home from jail or prison. His organization has become a pillar in the community, hosting recovery-centered events, donation drives, and mentorship programs that provide tangible resources and emotional healing. Today, Lavon stands not only as a survivor but as a leader, proving that recovery is possible and that one person’s healing journey can light the way for many
